WRAY—HOPSON.

\ The wedding took place at St. Andrew's Church, New Plymouth, recently of Marjorie Beatrice, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Hopson, Brixton, and Eric George, second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Wray, Smart Road, New Plymouth. The Rev. J. D. McLennan Wilson officiated. . The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a slipper-length frock of ivory satin beaute, cut on classical lines. The bodice of ivory lace was linished with a diamante clasp in the front and satin buttons down the back, with full sleeves to the elbow and lace cuffs forming a point over the hand. A beautiful tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of white arum lilies, freezias, azelias and maidenhair and asparagus fern. The two bridesmaids, Misses Ihv.a Hopson, cousin of the bride, and Miss Pearl Hopson, sister of the bride, were dressed in f rocks of pink and pale green French ring velvet respectively. Their instep length frocks were cut on classical lines, the bodices being made with a sun-ray effect. The full elbow lengths sleeves were rucked on the shoulders and finished with a diamante clasp. The chief bridesmaid wore a head-dress of daphne and carried a bouquet of pale pink camellias, ivy geraniums and maidenhair fern and Miss Pearl Hopson wore a headdress of golden daffodils and carried a bouquet , of lemon chrysanthemums, pansies, daffodils and maidenhair fern. Mr. Roy Hall was best man and Mr. Ian Wray was groorrisman. The reception was held at the Mon Desir tea rooms, the bride's mother receiving about 90 guests. She wore a frock of Wine French Hng velvet with lace yolk and sleeves and wine velvet hati She carried a bouquet in autumn tones. Mrs. Wray, the bridegrooni's mother, wore a green fiecked costume with hat and shoes to tone and carried. a bouquet of autumn leaves. The bride's travelling costume was of nigger brown and she wore a peach bloom hat.
