FAREWELL AT TE KIRI

GENERAL AND PERSONAL NEWS. A social evening and dance to farewell Mr. and Mrs. Coxhead and family was held in the Te Kiri hall on Friday night. There was a big attendance of residents and friends, the hall being alrnost full. Mr. E: A. Collins, on behalf of residents, presented Mr. and Mrs. Coxhead with a clock and on behalf of the hockey club. made a presentation to Mr. P- Coxhead. Items were given by Messrs. W. Dormer, L. Marshall, ' Duckett and R. Holland. Dance music was played by 'Mrs. Beer and extras by Mr. and Miss Collins. Euchre was held for the non-dancers. Mr. S. Agnew was master of ceremonies. Miss M. O'Hanlon has returned home after being the guest of her sister, Mrs. Scheuber, Toko, for a weelv, Mrs. M. Collins is spending a holiday at Christchurch. Mrs. S. Crawford, Te Awamutu, is staying with her son, Mr. W. Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Watson have returned home from Te Awamutu.
