Mr. I. Hodge visited Auckland to witness the Auckland-Springbok game. Mr. A. Gaft'ath has been transferred to Opunake. Mr. J. Brodie is visiting Hawkes Bay. Mr. A. Burkie is soon to return from England. Euchre Party. The final of the series of euchre parties was held on Tuesday night. Prize winners for the evening were Mrs. Whalen,1! Miss L. Luscornbe and Messrs. Doug. Walker and W. Ross. Mrs. Woodhead was winner of the worpen's section of tlie series with Mrs. Whalen runner-up. Mr. Ross won the men's section with Mr. W. Berry runner-up, Prize winners at a flag five hundred party were Miss D. Magee, Mrs. Crossley, Mrs. Scott and Mrs. J. Cameron. Mrs. E. Scott also won the prize for most flags and the travelling prize.
