REUNION OF R.S.A.
GATHERING AT WAITARA. , The Waitara branch of the R.S.A. held a reunion on Wednesday night with flag five hundred as the main item of the programme. There were about 50 persons present, and the winning table comprised Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. D. Reid. The travelling flag was won by Mr. W. L. Wright. After supper the president (Mr. I. G. Prichard) thanked all who had assisted, particularly mentioning Mr. L. N. Johnston, who looked after tho games. Tlie committee discussed eelebtating the 21st birthday of the R.S.A. and decided to hold a dance next month. "Bring and Buy." A bring and buy aftornoon held in St. John's Hall yesterday by women of the Presbyterian Church was very successful. Tliere Was a good attendance ahd the afternoon ppened with community smging led by Mrs. Beasley at the piano. Songs were sung by Mrs. McLeod and Mr. Sargent and duets by Mrs. Nielson and Mrs. Beasley. The stalls were conducted by Mesdames Muschamp 'and Miers (produce) and Hosie and Hoskin (fancywork). Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Barden, Mrs. Blanchard and Mrs. Hingley. The Rev. Hetherington thanked the performers and all who had assisted.
