HOCKEY TEAM TOUR

By Telegraph—Press Association.

ENGLISII REPRESENTATIVES. POSSIBLE VISIT TO DOMINION.

Wellington, Last Night. An All-England women's hockey team will probably be invited to tour New Zealand in 1938. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Women's Hockey Association to-night a suggestion from England that representatives would be willing to travel was well received. Delegates agreed that the tour would be valuable but were reluctant to commit the associations, particularly in view of the financial losses over the Fijian tour. It was decided to inform the English association by cable that tiro proposed tour would probably be acceptable but that definite advice would be sent in a month when the associations hacl been consulted on their willingness to finance matches.
