SEVERE EARTHQUAKE

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SHAKEN.
Rec. 7 p.m. Los Angeles, March 25. A heavy earthquake occurred in southern California to-day. A siesmologist termed it a 'quake strong enough to cause considerable damage at the point of origin. Los Angeles and its environs swayed long and continuously.
