REPAIRS TO MRS. PUTNAM'S PLANE. FLIGHT ROUTE MAY BE CHANGED.
Rec. 11.10 p.m. San Pedro, March 26. Mrs. Amelia Earhart Putnam, whose plane crashed recently at Honolulu, arrived to-day. She will re-attempt her flight in late April. Her plane will arrive on a ship on April 3 for repairs. "I still believe my plane to be one of the best in existence," she said, "but we overloaded it. I am grateful that we escaped injury. We might have to make changes in the route as a month's delay may result in unfavourable atmospheric conditions in the South Seas."
