VENTURE OF WOMEN'S DIVISION., At the last Dominion conference of the Women's Division it was decided that the Women's Division would compile a book of pioneer women of New Zealand, the book to be published as a souvenir of the Dominion centenary celebrations in 1940. In order to give effect to this decision, the Dominion is to be divided into 10 districts and 10 members will be responsible for a section each. In allotting the districts, tlie following names have been selected: 1, Auckland, Mrs. Wilson; 2, Hawkes Bay and Poverty Bay, Mrs. T. H. Lowry; 3, Marlborough, Miss Chaytor; 4, North Auckland, Mrs. Lane; 5, Taranaki, Mrs. Benton; 6, Wanganui, Mrs. Spurdle; 7, Nelson, Mrs. Forsyth; 8, Otago, Mrs. Drake; 9, Southland, Mrs. Ward; 10, Westland and Canterbury, Mrs. J. D. Hall. Material for the book is to be collected within the next year and members of the division will be asked to send to the collector for the district contributions of interest, including photographs, and to assist in making the venture a success.
