VICTIM IDENTIFIED
DEATH IN OKAIAWA ACCIDENT. JACK HENRY, OF HASTINGS ROAD. The young Maori who was killed in the collision between his motor-cycle and a car at Okaiawa on Saturday night / has been identified as Jack Henry, aged / 19, a single man, of Hastings Road, be- < tween Mangatoki and Okaiawa. He was employed at the Arawhata Road factory of the Oaonui Dairy Company and was ,returning to his home when the accident occurred. The police were able to trace the identity of the dead man as soon as access could be gained yesterday morning to the motor-cycle registration records at the Opunake post office. His father was then communicated with. An inquest was opened but after identification evidence had been take* was adjourned till Monday. • . ,:
