WIN FOR STRATFORD

INTER-CLUB TENNIS PLAY BEGUN MATCH AGAINST HAWERA PARK. By 18 sets to six, 183 games to 136, Stratford Beat Hawera Park in a competition tennis match at Stratford on Saturday. Park players were at a disadvantage in that they were accustomed to grass courts and played on Stratford’s hard courts. Stratford’s superiority was most marked in the combined doubles, where the team won every match.
