BOOK ON AIR RACE
WALLER AND JONES FRIENDS YET. WITHDRAWAL OF LIBEL ACTION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, Nov. 6. After the centenary air race to Australia T. Cathcart-Jones wrote a book which his co-pilot, K. Waller, considered reflected on his courage and capacity as a pilot, and he brought a libel action. A settlement was announced by the King’s Bench, Waller’s counsel explaining that he was satisfied that CathcartJones had no intention of casting any reflection on Waller and was unreservedly withdrawing it if anyone viewed the passage as Waller had done. They had remained the best of friends.
