ROTARY VISITORS

WANGANUI CLUB AT HAWERA. DINNER AND SPORTS MATCHES. A party of 20 Wanganui Rotarians visited the Hawera club on Tuesday and was entertained at dinner and in bowling, tennis and golf matches. At the dinner in the evening Rotarian R. H. Leece presided. There was an excellent attendance of Hawera Rotarians. Rotarians J. E. Campbell, Mayor of Hawera, welcomed the guests. I’embers of the Har era club‘sang a special song. Rotarian Arthur Douglass spoke on the interriational outlook in regard to Rotary. Tire Hawera vice-president, Rotarian D. McCormick, thanked the speaker. Hawera beat Wanganui in the sports contests by five matches to three.
