FUN IN FANCY DRESS
BRIGHT CHILDREN’S PARTY. SUNDAY SCHOOL PUPILS’ DANCE. A real “night out” for Stratford children was provided at the parish hall on Friday, when the Church of England Sunday school held its annual fancy dress dance. More ■ than 100 children packed the floor and for three hours enjoyed, to the utmost a bright programme of games and dances. The vicar, the Rev. K. J. McFarland, was in charge, and was assisted by a large band of helpers. A variety of games and dances was organised by Miss E. M. Harper. were given by pupils of Miss Norma Spearman as follows: Military dance, tap dance and elocution, Thelma Cox; twist and tumble dance, Delma Carter; duo clog dance. Marie Peicke and Pat Tunbridge; operatic dance, Baby Harris. Miss M. Middleton, Miss Harper and Miss Moana Femme! played for the dances and games. Among those helping with the evening were Miss Woods, Misses Middleton, Miss D. Carryer, Miss Black, Misses Femmell, Miss Anstis, Mrs. Stokes, Mrs. Anstis, Mrs. Cutfield, Miss Burgess, Miss L. Penn, Miss Cutfield and Mr. C. Galbraith. Among the children present in fancy dress were: Margaret McLean (Gipsy), I. Saggers (evening), Merle Rowell (Indian), J. Skoglund (evening), D.
