Kerikeri Grapefruit.

The popularity of Kerikeri grapefruit is increasing, and the entire crop has been disposed of, states the Auckland Star. One grower writes that orders have been pouring in from all parts of New Zealand, and many have had to be turned down. No special efforts were made to advertise the cropland the cause of the sudden demand is not known. One case recently sent to Bellamy’s in Parliament resulted in an order for 100 cases. This was the means of proving to members of Parliament that the fruit was of fine quality, and the news spread rapidly. The crop of another grower was ordered twice over, and. orders were still coming in.
