GROUP MARKETING
ADDRESSES BY BOARD’S MANAGER.
ITINERARY OF TOUR ANNOUNCED.

Following the almost unanimous endorsement by the dairy industry of the New Zealand Dairy Board’s export marketing scheme, under which dairy produce will be marketed through seven groups, the board at its meeting to-day gave consideration to the steps necessary for the formation of groups in various districts. Tentative proposals have been drawn up and these will be submitted to the industry at a series of meetings in tire near future. At. the Dominion conference strong representations were made by various districts that Mr. H. E. Davis, the board s London manager, should visit the dairying centres and address meetings. The board has decided to agree to this, and at the meetings discussion will also be taken upon the detailed proposals for implementing group marketing next season. Mr. Davis will address meetings in dairying centres as follow: Whangarei, October 21; Warkworth, October 22; Morrinsville, October 23; Whakatane, October 24; Stratford, October 26; Wanganui, October 26; Dannevirke, October 29; Pahiatua, October 29; Palmerston North, October 30; Carterton, November 1; Christchurch, November 8; Temuka, November 9; Invercargill, November 11; Dunedin, November 12. . The meetings will be open to all dairy company suppliers.
