WOOL SALE COMPETITION KEEN.
Rec. 10.15 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 16. At the wool sales 13.,176 bales were offered, of which 12,728 were sold, while 1061 were sold privately. Competition was very strong and general, and the best features of previous days’ sales were reproduced. Greasy Merino made 21%d and crossbred to the latter constituting a season’s record.
