SCHOOL COMMITTEE’S DAN.CE. The Tangarakau school committe held a dance ’on Saturday night. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker and a children’s Monte Carlo waltz by June and Bob Stewart. The music was supplied by Mrs. Stark. An extra was played by Mrs. Mallett. Mr. Mallett was master of ceremonies.

Miss Lois and Miss Isla Kilmister recently visited Mrs. Cronin, Tatu. _ _ Mrs. and Miss Betty Savage visited Tahora. 1 Mrs. Rosewarne spent a few days at Stratford. Miss Bessie Northcott has left for Mangapapa. . , m Mr. and Mrs. Whittaker visited Tangarakau during the week-end.
