Sir,—ln your issue of Monday, October 14, in your valued report of my speech al Opunake you report me as saying that the Labour Party increased its vote by 109,176 at the 1931 election polls. What I did say was that in twelve years the party’s vote increased by 109,176, whilst in the same' period the Reform Party’s vote declined by 23,000. The Liberals and United were down by 61,169, and Labour alone increased. Thanking you for your otherwise good report.—l am, etc., Roskill.
