CONTINUING BUSINESS

PIG MARKETING ASSOCIATION.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, Oct. 15.

Commenting on the rumour that the New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association is ceasing business, the managing director, Mr. W. A. Phillips, stated to-day that some misconception may have arisen because of a notice in the Mercantile Gazette to the effect that the company had been struck off the register and dissolved. This referred to the old edmpany, which went into voluntary liquidation in 1930. A new company of the same name was formed at the time of the reconstruction and continues to carry on business with the head office at Hamilton.
