ALBERTA ASKS FOR LOAN. MR. R. B. BENNETT’S REPLY. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Ottawa, Sept. 10. The Prime Minister, Mr. R. B. Bennett, refused the request of the Social Credit Premier, Mr. W. Aberhart, for a £3,600,000 loan and told him to see the banks. If Alberta’s situation threatens default the Dominion Government will reconsider the matter later. Mr. Aberhart claimed that the Social Credit Party would capture 35 in the Dominion election.
