OKATO BASKETBALL

CLUB’S SUCCESSFUL DANCE. A large crowd gathered at the Hempton Hall, Okato, on Thursday to do honour to the two Okato representatives in the Taranaki basketball team, Misses K. Goodin and W. Bridgeman. The dance was controlled by Miss J. Webb and Miss' E. Coi'bett. Wright’s Orchestra supplied the music. Extras were played by Miss K. Goodin and Miss H. Gibson. Prizewinners at euchre were: Mrs. Matthews 1, Mrs. M. Corbett and Mrs. Jenkins equal 2; M'r. F. Goodin 1, Mr. F. Roebuck 2. Mr. S. Tappin controlled the euchre.
