The number of players affiliated to the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association is estimated at 33,807, an increase of 3239 over the total in 1934. The Auckland Association is the largest, its membership numbering 6287; 5225 players belong to the Canterbury Association and 3544 to the Wellington body.
