MEN’S HOCKEY FINALS
CHAMPIONSHIP AND CUP GAMES. GAME AT KAPONGA TO-MORROW. South and Central Taranaki will contest the final men’s hockey match for the George and Doughty Cup at Kaponga to-morrow at 3.15. The following south team has been selected by Mr. A. Jackson: Miller (Hawera); Clarke (Egmont), Ryan (Hawera); Westwood (Egmont), Simon (Hawera), Brough (Egmont); Fredericks (Hawera), Howatson (Nolantown), Fleet (Nolantown), McGlashan (Hawera), Blake (Hawera). The final match of tlw Taranaki championship competition will be played at Kaponga at 1.45 p.m. to-morrow between Kaponga and Manaia. The umpires for the George and Doughty Cup game will be the Rev. J. A. Rybum and Mr. E. Fryer, and for the club final Messrs. A. Jackson and M. Priest.
