GENERAL AND PERSONAL ITEMS. There was good attendance at ths euchre party and dance in the Pukearuhe hall on Wednesday evening, The prize-winners were Mrs. R. Luxton 1, Miss Beulah Luxton 2 (after a play-off with Mrs. A. White and Mrs. Radford); Mr. L. Ellis and Mr. H. Rowe equal 1. Mr. N. Edwin played the dance music, with an extra by Miss O. Lambert Mr. IL Martin was. master of ceremonies, Mr, and Mrs. J, Johnson Spend the week-end at Hurleyville as the guests of Mrs. C. Dunbar. The Rev. Mr. Phillips was the guest of Mr. afid Mrs. R. Weeden for the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Phillips have returned from the Waikato. Miss L. Wells returned from South Taranaki on Wednesday. Mrs. Newman, Nelson, was the guest of Mr. and Miss Freeth for the weekend.

Mr. W. Freeth, who has-been indisposed, is about again. Miss H. Cartwright has returned from a holiday.
