Mrs. Leslie Judd, who visited friends at Wellington and Palmerston North, has returned to Inglewood. Mrs. Carter entertained recently. Miss Martin, who was the guest of Mrs. R. Schrider, has returned to Stratford. ‘
Miss Harrison, New Plymouth, is the giiest of Miss N. Wilson. Mrs. Hutchinson has returned to Inglewood after spending a holiday with Mrs. Kemp, Eltham. Miss G. Smith, Taumarunui, is the guest of Miss E. Brown. Miss W. Whittington is the guest of Mrs. F. Carter .for the Bryant-Ferguson wedding at New Plymouth to-night.
Mrs. Woods was hostess at bridge on Thursday evening.
Mrs. V. Scanlon will return during the week-end from a motor trip to Auckland, Whangarei and Wellington. The Misses E. Standing and E. Fabish vteited Manaia on Wednesday for the annual ball of the Municipal Band,
