John Cobb, the British racing motorist, covered 152.11 miles in an hour driving on the Salt Flats to-day. He is claiming a world record. He is also claiming world records as follows: 154.46 miles an hour for 50 kilometres, 153.13 miles ari hour for 100 kilometres; 153.24 miles an hour for 200 kilometres; 150.6 miles an hour for 50 miles; 152.95 miles an hour for 100 miles.
