Roy (occupying the chair), Mesdames Avery, White, Armstrong and Miss Godfrey. A dance held on May 11 proved to be a most enjoyable function, it was reported. The Whakarata girls were en- ! tertained at tea by Mrs. Roy in the 1 league rooms on May 13. An “at home” will be held on Friday afternoon next, the hostesses being Mesdames White and Avery. It was also decided to hold an “at home” on the evening of June 26, when Mrs. Armstrong and Miss Godfrey will be hostesses.
