VICTIMS OF TITANIC WRECK

LARGE AMOUNT PAID ANNUALLY IN PENSIONS In England 276 people are ’‘still receiving pensions in respect of a disaster that occurred 23 years ago. They are the beneficiaries of the fund subscribed for the dependants of the victims of the Titanic tragedy. “The amount paid out yearly now is about £15,000,” said an official of the Public Trustee Office in Lohdon. “The beneficiaries now are mainly middleaged women who were widowed in their youth by the disaster.”
