AFFILIATION DECIDED

EGMONT A. AND P. SOCIETY. JUDGES’ COMMITTEES SET UP. A decision to affiliate with the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand was made by the general committee of the Egmont A. and P. Association yesterday after addresses had been delivered by Messrs. L. J. Wild, Feilding, president of the society, and James Knight, chairman of the district council of the society. Fees for affiliation amount to two per cent on the total financial membership of the association and based on last yaar’s figures the annual sum will probably be £l4. Mr. J. Forbes presided at the meeting. Judges’ and schedule committees for the 1935 show were appointed as follow: Light horses: Messrs. C. G. Trotter, C. H. Washer, W. McL’Dowie, A. Appleyard, S. C. Tonks.
