Following the decision at the Stresa conference Britain, France and Italy have cent a strongly worded joint Note to Lithuania demanding the observation of the rights of German residents in Memel. The Daily Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent points out that though 24 of the 29 members of the Memel Parliament are Germans, five have been restrained from attnding and the remaining nineteen do not form a uorum.
