RUSSIA TO-DAY

SPECIAL NEWS FEATURE On page one of to-day’s supplement to the Taranaki Daily News appears the first of a series of six special articles on Russia and other European countries written by Mr. J. R. Hanan, a young Invercargill lawyer. Mr. Hanan has just returned from an eight months’ visit to Europe, in the course of which he spent some time in Soviet Russia. He wishes it to be understood that he is in no way associated with Communism, and his endeavour is to present an unbiassed account of what he saw and heard, refraining as far as possible from expressing his own opinions. The articles will appear weekly in the Saturday supplement.
