SILVER RING RUNS HALF-MILE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Sydney, April 16. Training gallops for the Doncaster Handicap were staged at Randwick this morning on a grass track next to the rails, where the going was fairly fast. Silver Ring, with his Doncaster jockey, Bartie, in the saddle, ran a half-mile satisfactorily in 50,45.; Rogilla, a mile in lm. 495. easily; King March and Contact, ten furlongs inv2m. 125.; Topical, Verberry and Underwood, nine furlongs in lm. 585.; Lady Primrose, three in 385.; and Limyris and Miss’ Notava a good six in lm. 18JS. Sylvandale beat Gold Trail by three lengths o' :r 10 furlongs in 2m. Ils.; Homer and Fanfare finished together after five furlongs in lm. 4s. Oro galloped a fast six furlongs in lm. 15js; Winooka beat Vista over five furlongs in lm. 2js., the best run of the morning; Sir John and Blixten ran six furlongs in lm. 1635.; Hall Mark and Satmoth ran six furlongs in lm. 1735. Legatee, ridden by K. Voitre, beat Beamish Boy, the South Australian Sires’ Produce winner, over six furlongs in lm. 17 As. Bimilla led Limoux over six furlongs in lm. 161 s. and Visage and After Money did six furlongs in lm. 1735. On the course proper at Victoria Park Peter Pan ran six furlongs in lm. 1735. Young Idea did five in lm. 41s.

Dark Sky and Dromos together covered six in Im. 18s., La Trobe six in Im. 1835., Arachne, Solfast and Dermid six in lm. 19s.
