STRATFORD

Mrs. Green is spending a holiday at Rotorua.

Mrs. R. H. White has returned from a visit to Napier. Mrs. C. Penn has returned from a holiday visit to New Plymouth. Miss M. Porritt has returned from a holiday visit to the South Island. Miss Jane Bayly, Dannevirke, is visiting Stratford and is staying with her mother, Mrs. Bayly. Mrs. J. MacDonald has returned to Masterton after a visit to friends at Stratford. >

Miss L. Hollins, Cardiff, is visiting Kaimata and is the guest of Mrs. F. Shepphard. Mrs. Carey, who has been the guest of Mrs. Budge, has returned home to Masterton.

Mrs. Hunt, formerly of Stratford, who was the guest of Mrs. J. Boon, left on Saturday for Tauranga. Mrs. Hill and Mrs. P. Harrison have rteurnod from a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs. T. Rowson, Sydney, is visiting Stratford and is staying With her mother, Mrs. Milner.

Mrs. Peploe and family, who have been staying with Mrs. Peploe’s mother, Mrs. Blick, have returned to Dannevirke.

Mrs. Yarndley has returned from a holiday visit to the South Island, where she was the guest of Mrs. Haselderi.

Miss Myra Gill, of the nursing staff of the Wanganui hospital, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Gill, Whangamomona. Mrs. Cresswell and Miss Joan Cresswell have been visiting Dargaville and will leave shortly for Australia, where Miss Cresswell will continue her dancing studies. Miss B. McKay gave a bridge evening on Thursday night, when her guests were Mrs. S. McGregor, Misses R. Furrie, N. Ennis, M. Whittle, K. Kempthorne, N. Curd and A. Hardy Jones.
