SENTENCE QUASHED
ACTION BY COURT OF APPEAL.
INDECENT ASSAULT CHARGES.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. J. V. Priestly pleaded guilty at Wellington on December 6, 1934, to five charges of indecent assault on a male and was sentenced by Mr. Justice Reed to be detained for reformative purposes for a period not exceeding two years. To-day the Court of Appeal made an order quashing that sentence and substituted for it an order that Priestly come up for sentence if required at any time within two years.
