MEETING OF COMMITTEE. • A detailed description of the camp at Trentham, at which the Patea Guides behaved splendidly, it was stated, was given by Mrs. T. A. Prescott, Guide captain, at the monthly meeting of -the Patea association on Tuesday. Eleven Patea Guides and herself had attended, she reported. The presidei?.; Mrs. F. Ramsbottom, moved that the Patea Borough Council be approached with a view to having a portion of the reserve recently cleared made available to the troop for a flower garden. Mrs. Prescott was appointed delegate to the association meeting at New Plymouth. Arrangements for the troop’s birthday celebrations were discussed.
