ADDRESS BY ENGLISH PIANIST. An interesting lecture on modem music and musicians of England was given by Mrs. J. H. Stansfield-Pr or, an eminent English pianiste recently on contract to the New Zealand Broadcasting Board, to an audience of Hawera music teachers last night. She traced the development of English music from Elizabethan days to the present, and gave items by several modern composers. She also y*ayed the Fourth Sonata by Seriabin. Miss C. Reilly presided.
