Sir John Simon, Foreign Secretary, will fly to Berlin on Thursday. He will spend Friday and Saturday in discussions with Herr Hitler. A Berlin message states that the. city is preparing to show Sir John Simon that Nazi hospitality is second to none. He will be given a suite at the Reich President’s palace in the Wilhemstrass and the banquet at which he will be entertained will be the biggest sooial event since Herr Hitler’s election to the Presidency. A British Official Wireless message states that it has not yet been decided whether Sir John Simon will be accompanied to Berlin by Mr. R. A .Eden, Lord Privy Seal. It is. understood that the question of a subsequent visit by a British Minister to Moscow and possibly Warsaw and Prague is still tinder consideration.
