IMPORTANT PARIS FACTORIES. REMOVAL TO COUNTRY PLANNED. » By Telegraph— Press Assn.— Copyright Paris, Feb. 22. Proposals have been presented by the Government for the removal of important industries from Paris owing to the danger of bombardment. It is pointed out that practically the whole of the French aircraft, motor and radio industries are concentrated in the Paris region. The. Government is offering financial aid to aircraft manufacturers to build factories away from Paris and is considering a scheme suggested by M. Roland Ziegel, of the Ministry of Marine, to take 50.000 workers from the concentrated industrial areas, principally Paris, and divide them into small units of production in country districts. It estimated that the scheme will cost £13,500,000. It is stated that Marshal Petain. and |aig steel-' magnates are supporting the scheme.
