Continued selling pressure caused a further recession of investment values on the Stock Exchange to-day, although the reverses on the whole were not as heavy as yesterday, buyers showing slightly more disposition to take advantage of the reduced rates. SALE OF PEDIGREE PIGS. In conjunction with the Inglewood haymarket sale Newton King Ltd. conducted a successful sale of 35 pedigree Tamworth pigs on behalf of Mr. T. J. Martin, of the Hollyvale Stud. Top prices were realised for seven-months-old Tamworth boars and sows, but there was also very keen demand for a litter of Tamworth pigs approximately seven weeks of age. Prices realised were: Pedigree Tamworth sows, seven months of age, Signs, 4gns, 4Jgns and six at sgns; pedigree Tamworth boars of service age, 3Jgns to sgns up to 6|gns; weaner boars, 30s each; weaner sows, 20s to 255.

At the same sale there was an overflow yarding of store and weaner pigs and an almost complete clearance was made at the hammer. Realisations were: Porkers, 27s 6d to 30s; stores, 17s 6d to 19s 6d; quality well done weaners, 9s to Ils; smaller and inferior weaners, 5s to Bs.
