PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr. and Mrs. A. Corkill were the guests of Mrs. C. Webb, Purangi, during the week-end. Miss P. Lambert spent the week-end at Strathmore en route to Ohura, where she will spend a holiday. Mrs. S. George was the guest of Mrs. J. Wells, Ratapiko, during last week. Mr. W. Walsh, who is suffering from the results of a slight accident, sustained at the beach, is recuperating at New Plymouth. Mrs. H. Crowe visited Matau as the guest of Mrs. L. Ayres during the week. Mr. and Mrs. H. Jones, Kaimato, were the guests of Mrs. J. Mackie last week. Mr. R. Drake, Tikorangi, visited the district at the week-end. Mrs. G. Rawlinson and Miss D. Rawlinson, Matau, were Mrs. D. Ludeman’s visitors last week. Mrs. D. Lambert, Inglewood, was the guest of her mother, Mrs. H. George, last week-end. Miss P. Goodwin has returned to Palmerston North. Mrs. H. Watkins and Mrs. J. Mounsey, Purangi, were the guests of Mrs. S. George last week.
