MEN HEAVILY FINED AT SYDNEY. •IMPRISONED TILL MONEY PAID. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Melbourne, Feb. 12. Three men who were arrested after an exciting pursuit by Customs officials on February 7 were charged with having opium in their possession and each was fined £lOO and ordered to be imprisoned until the fines are paid. The Crown stated that 500 ounces of opium valued at about £5OOO was found in parcels thrown away by the men during the chase.
