Bonds (1949), £lO6 10s; (1955), £lO9 17s 6d; Bank of Australasia, £ll 12s 6d; National Bank of New Zealand, £3 Ils 9d; Reserve Bank, £6 12s 6d; Kaiapoi WoolIXi, 15s 6d. Dunedin:—Sales: King Solomon, 3s Bd, 3s 7d (two lots). Reported sales: Otago Times, 52s (late yesterday); Bank of New Zealand, 49s 6d (after call); Bank of New Zealand (long D), 31s; Big River, 2s 2d. BRADFORD TOPS FIRM. London, Jan. 17. LONDON WOOL SALE. London, Jan. 17. At the wool sates 10,399 bates were offered, including 2771 from New Zealand. A total of 8688 Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was good English and Continental competition and the bulk of the offerings was sold at late rates, but there were a few withdrawals owing to high selling limits. PRICES OF POULTRY. NEW PLYMOUTH SALES YESTERDAY Messrs. L. A. Nolan and Co. report full pens for their poultry sate at New Plymouth yesterday when the following prices were realised: Hens Is to Is 7d, cockerels Is to Is Bd, small cockerels 8d to Is 3d, ducks 10d to Is 4d, ducklings up to 2s, bantams 9d.
