Reported sales: Alexander Mines (15s paid), 16s sd; Mount Lyell, 17s; Skippers, Ltd., 8d; Big River, 2s 7d. Unlisted stocks: Argo Gold Dredging (9d paid), Is. GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Charleston gold return for the fortnight, ended January 12 was lloz 3 dwt 3grs for 17 shifts, reports the Press Association. The initial return for the Mossy Creek dredge was 320 z 6dwt 4gr for 6500 yards opening out, states a Greymouth message.
