Mrs. N. R. Wills has left Stratford for a holiday.
Mrs. A. Dickenson is spending a holiday at New Plymouth. Mrs. G. T. Wilson, who has been spending a holiday at New Plymouth, will return home to-day.
Mrs. R. Cutfield and Misses M. and J. Cutfield left last night for a holiday visit to Waihi.
Mrs. J. Boon, who has been on a holiday visit to her daughter has returned home.
Mis. L. J. Furrie and Miss Rhea Furrie are making a motor tour of the North Island.
Miss N. Wilson is spending a holiday at New Plymouth and will return on Monday.
Mrs. Bray, New Plymouth, is a visitor to Stratford and is the guest of Mrs. N. Benefield.
Miss E. Longstaff is a holiday visitor to Tauranga and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Steele. Miss D. Armstrong, Palmerston North, is a visitor to Stratford and is staying with friends. Miss Rhea Furrie returned from Hawera, where she was the guest of Miss Lovell.
Mrs. T. R. Burke, Eltham, is spending a few days at Stratford as the guest of her mother, Mrs. D. McCready. Mrs. B. Rawles and family, have returned from a holiday visit to New Plymouth.
Mrs. W. Reid, who has been visiting Waipuku as the guest of Mrs. Reid, has returned to Stratford. 6
Miss Edna Lash is visiting Hawera. where she is the guest of Mrs. S. F. Prosser.
Miss M. Lindop' left by the mail train yesterday for Wellington, where she will 'be the guest of Mrs. Faire. Mrs. A. Newton has returned to Waitara after- a holiday visit to Stratford as the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. Milne. Mrs. B. Bellringer was hostess at an afternoon party on Wednesday, when a number of visitors from Hawera and New Plymouth were present.
The Misses Gibson are spending a holiday at Te Puke as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman at the Bank of Australasia.
Mrs. J. Potts left on Wednesday for Wellington after a holiday visit to Stratford as the guest of her mother-in-law, Mrs. R. Potts. Mrs. C. H. Rogers junr., Wellington, has returned home after a holiday visit to Stratford as the guest of Mr. C. L. Rogers. Mrs. D. Morris has returned from a holiday visit to New Plymouth, where she was the guest of her mother, Mrs. Shaw.
Mrs. Ebbett, who has been spending the Christmas and New Year holidays at New Plymouth, m returned home yesterday morning. Miss Claire Handley, Masterton, who has been paying a holiday visit to Ra» hotu, is visiting Stratford as the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Fawcett, before returning home. Miss Lal Milne, of the Thames hospital nursing staff, returned to Thames on Monday night after spending her annual holiday with her mother, Mrs. Len Milne, Toko. Despite the inclement weather the first day of the Stratford races was well attended, there being a number of visitors from other towns. Some of those present were Mesdames D. Malone, A. Coleman, E.
