Attention is drawn to an advertisement by the Hawera Borough Council in this issue notifying that High Street (between Princes and Victoria Streets) will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7 to 11 p.m. on December 24 and 31. Motor cyclists will, however, be allowed to take their machines to business premises for repairs etc. provided the cycles are not ridden.
