DEATH OF MR. C. H. DICKINSON.
WIDE BUSINESS EXPERIENCE.

Cabled advice has been received that Mr. C. H. Dickinson, director of the Charles Haines Advertising Agency Ltd., New Zealand, and managing director of its Australian company, died at Sydney yesterday after a short illness. As a youth Mr. Dickinson went away with the Otago Regiment and- saw two and a-half years’ service in the Great War. During that period he suffered a serious injury which became a permanent disability. He had long experience in newspaper advertising Work, and was engaged successively, on the staffs of the Otago Daily 'Times, the North Otago Times, the Dominion and the Christchurch Press before joining Messrs. Gordon and GOtCh’s advertising department. He represented the latter firm at both Dimedin and Auckland.
He became manager of the Auckland branch Of the Charles Haines Advertising Agency in 1922 and retained that position until he left New Zealand four years ago. Mr. Dickinson was 39 years of age. He leaves a widow and two children,
