Mrs. A. J. Rutherford ha£ returned from a Short visit to Thames.
Mrs. Tabdr, Auckland, has been visiting New Plymouth during the week.
Mrs. O. Samuel left on Wednesday to spend a hdliday at Palmerston North. Mrs. O. E. Flyger left by car during the week-end to spend a holiday at Rotorua. Mrs. A. Griffiths entertained at bridge last night in honour of her guest, Miss Alisdn Coventry, Hamilton. Miss A. Johnston, Tauranga, is visiting New Plymouth and is the gufest of Mrs. D. Evans. Mrs. F. S. Johns returned during the wCek-Oiid from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Price, Dannevirke. Mrs. C. C. Ward has returned to New Plymouth after an extended holiday in England and America. Mrs. F. Ashton-Warner sent., Wellington, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs, K. D. Henderson, MSngahume.
Miss Hannah Roberts has arrived from Nelson on a visit to her mother, Mrs. Roberts, Fillis Street. Mrs. Harper has returned to Marton after being the guest of Mrs. J. S. Chui'ch for the week-end.
Miss L. Harding, who has been visiting Mrs. E. B. Ellerm for a few days, returned to Marton on Monday. Mrs. R. Wylie, Auckland, who has been the guest of Mrs. F. N. Whitcom.be, has left on a visit to Palmerston North. . Mrs. Kenneth Clark, who has been on a motor tour of the North Island, has returned to Kftrori, Wellington. Mrs. F. Kingsford arrived from Cambridge during the week-end to spend a few days with her mother, Mrs. A. J. Rutherford.
Miss Helen Bullock returns this morning from a holiday at Tauranga, where she was the guest of Mrs. C. H. Waterston.
Mrs. Noel Rix-Trott, who has been visiting Het mother, Mrs. E. Griffiths, for a few days, returned to Marton on Monday. Mrs. S. J. Parker and Miss Reida Paiker left New Plymouth yesterday to reside at Nelson. A farewell party to Miss Parker was held at the Mon Desir last Wednesday at which about 70 friend." were present. Miss Ida Lysons, who has been spending some months at New Plymouth with her mother, Mrs, E. W. M. Lysons, will leave by car to-day for Auckland, and will sail to connect with the Orsova from Sydney on her return to England. Mrs. will accompany her as far as Auckland.
