Lyons, became seriously ill to-day during a Cabinet meeting after a newsreel talkie, had been made of the new composite Ministry. He. was. rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, to-night. Mr. Lyons in recent months, has carried a terrific burden of- responsibility. There had been, the election, followed by the Cabinet, reconstruction.

The Royal visit and the centenary festivities had also engaged much of- his time. He had arranged to accompany the Duke of Gloucester on the tour- of Northern Tasmania at the end of this, week.
