SILVER JUBILEE

ROYAL MINT STRIKES MEDAL. THE DESIGN ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 6.30 p.m. London, Nov. 10. In connection with the King’s silver jubilee the Royal Mint is to issue a medal in 1935 showing the crowned effigies of Their Majesties. It has been impossible to find a single emblem representative of the Empire as a whole; therefore it has been decided that the reverse will show a view of Windsor Castle.

The medal will be available in a leather case at £1 Is and in a cardboard case gt 2s 6d. Special arrangements are being made for the sale of the medal in the Dominions.
