G. W. Forbes, in the House of Repesentetivas to-day. whether in view of the importance of the meat imported into Britain he would make a statement regarding the progress that was being made in the discussions on the subject that were taking place between the representatives of New Zealand and Britain Mr. Forbes said he was unable to make a statement at present as the discussions were still proceeding, but he hoped to do so in a few days.
